For your security, please lock the front and back doors from the inside. 

To lock the front door, lift the handle then turn the knob clockwise until it clicks; to unlock turn

the knob counterclockwise until it clicks.

To lock the back door, lift the handle and turn the key clockwise; to unlock turn the key counterclockwise.

Spare keys for the back door and window locks are hanging inside the cupboard door above the fridge.

Please do not remove these keys from 2 Rockmount.

The central heating temperature is preset according to the season and time of day. 

You can override this using the knob outside the bathroom door; see "Equipment Instructions".

The floor-standing light in the lounge is operated by turning the knob located half way up it.

The bedside light in the twin bedroom is operated by touching its base.

The front steps light is on a timer. 

The back porch light is on movement sensor (the switch inside is covered up to make this work).

Should a light bulb fail and the circuit breaker trip, the electricity board is in the external cupboard located

on the rear wall of the house; this cupboard also contains spare light bulbs. If you require access to this

cupboard (which is normally accessible to the cleaner only), the key is in a masterlock box next to the

cupboard door. Please call Coast & Country (01548 843773) for the code for this masterlock.

EV charger.  If you wish to use the Electric Vehicle charger and have not asked for details prior to your holiday, please call Martin on 07973.286780.  (We sent you an email about arranging EV charging when you booked, but we’ll do all we can to get you connected now!)

You will find a BBQ outside the summerhouse. 

There is also a box in which we have left BBQ coals and disposable BBQs, for your convenience. 

You are welcome to use these, but please replace those you use before the end of your stay

(the nearby Spar sells them; see "Local Facilities"). 

There is a tiled stand for disposable BBQs, located outside the summerhouse.
